Industrial Painting Services

Industrial painting is a surface-coating method using a variety of liquid coatings – such as epoxy, glass-flake epoxy or polyurethane. This may be the perfect alternative finishing solution to powder coating for projects unable to withstand oven temperatures or size restrictions.

We paint metalwork of all types and sizes for exterior and interior uses, for residential or commercial spaces, for highly-trafficked areas and high-touch objects, and for durability against corrosion and rust.

We offer a wide range of colors and finishes.

We’ve got you covered. We’ll advise on which system is best suited to your project.

5-stars

This small business is going places. I had some car chassis parts powder coated, and not only were the finishes exceptional, I had the parts back THE NEXT DAY! The owner even gave me a tour of his facility before I left. The staff were professional and friendly.

PPC has earned a loyal customer right out of the gate. Well done.

    Industrial Painting FAQs

What’s the difference between “regular” painting and industrial painting?

All paint is made of the same basic components: pigments, binders, liquids, and additives. Of these, it’s the binders that set industrial paint apart from paints for other applications. Binders are the component that holds everything else in the paint together, and they affect qualities such as gloss, strength, hardness, and curing.

What’s the difference between commercial and industrial painting?

Commercial painting offers painting for the building interior and exteriors. Industrial painting offers painting for machinery, boats, aircraft, and structures such as bridges.

When would you choose industrial painting rather than powder coating?

First, “wet” painting can be used to coat objects that can’t be heated, as the process does not require high temperatures to succeed. (Powder-coated items need to be heat-cured.) It may be easier to custom color-match wet paint than with powder coating. Finally, wet painting gives you a thin finish, making it ideal for objects that require one.
